Salt Lake City residents have their chance tonight to weigh in on proposed tax increases that will result in the average homeowner paying $22 more over the coming year.
The estimated increase also means $165 more per year on a $1 million business property.
The City Council says the increases are needed to secure two new library branches and to ensure completion of downtown's planned science
