Laser skin treatment is also called lasabrasion or resurfacing. It is conducted by an expert surgeon who uses carbon dioxide or erbium laser to eliminate, through vaporization, the upper layers of a damaged skin area. The skin layers are peeled off or removed through a laser until new skin cells resurface during the healing process.
